This is a wonderful museum filled with a variety of Americana exhibits many in period buildings of the village. You can easily spend the day looking and even more.

This is a nice campground that is very close to the Shelburn Museum. We didn't find any other campgrounds in this area and came back to it a second night.

  3. Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Factory is in Waterbury, Vermont. They give free tours of the facility and it is fun place to have some really good ice cream.

  4. Gold Brook Campground is in Stowe, Vermont north of Ben & Jerry's on Route 100. It was a nice campground with a river running beside it. This campground is suppose to be open all year, this is a rarity in Vermont.

We have actually stayed there in mid February(2 years ago) as well as in summer. The snow was 3ft deep when we stayed in February. If you want to go in the winter it is best to call ahead so they can plow out the site for you.
